Many people are afraid of trying something new. We worry that our attempts at being creative or spontaneous may not work out. We assume the worst about our new ventures and speak doom over anything new. I fear that this says something profound about our faith - after all faith has it's foundations in what we know to be truth (the promises of God, the Awesome power of God's love), but faith also hopes in the 'new' discoveries of God's presence and grace.
Don't be afraid to try something new for God today.
